Project close out and rectification period

Project Closing Process consists of those processes performed to conclude all activities leading from the commissioning of the building systems right up to the issue of the Final Certificate at the end of the rectification period, generally 12 months after Practical Completion. The core objective of this process is to achieve a successful handover of the building to the client and close out the construction contract.
